Things To Do In Long Beach This Week: July 25 – 30

Now that Long Beach is well into the Summer, the season’s activities are in full swing.

With nearly perfect weather this coming week, here is what you can expect:


Tuesday – July 25



Theme: Cinemagic – The Music of John Williams

John Williams is the most prolific composer of our time. The volume of his works for films and concert halls speak for themselves. Over 110 films scores, 15 orchestral works, and 12 television show themes – all in the last 40 years! To date, John Williams has received over 50 Grammy awards. Conductor Curtis has selected a representative group of compositions for your enjoyment in honor of this great American music icon. To add to the festivities we welcome vocalist Julie Ragins to the stage.

Wednesday - Los Cerritos Park (Country Club Drive)

Thursday  – Marine Stadium (5255 E. Paoli Way)

Friday - El Dorado Park West (2800 Studebaker Rd.)

Thursday – July 27

Friday – July 28 


The festival will offer up the creatures in a variety of ways, as well as a food court, two bars, vendors, entertainment and more.

Date: Friday 7/28, Saturday 7/29, Sunday 7/30 

Time: 5 pm 

Location: Rainbow Lagoon Park


Saturday – July 29 



A joint venture between CreepyLA and Theme Park Adventure, the event features more than 100,000 square feet of vendors, entertainment, workshops, industry leaders, makeup demonstrations, short film screenings, Hall of Shadows, Queen Mary’s Sinister Circus ball, haunted attraction previews and more.

Date: Saturday 7/29 & Sunday 7/30 

Time: 11 am

Location: Long Beach Convention Center (300 E. Ocean Blvd.)


Sunday – July 30 


The ancient sport of Dragon Boat racing, vendors, entertainment and more will be on hand.

Date: Saturday 7/29 & Sunday 7/30 

Time: 9 am 

Location: Marine Stadium (5255 E. Paoli Way)
